Being proactive with your health and wellbeing during pregnancy is a wonderful thing to do for you and your growing baby. Exercise and weight training are encouraged during pregnancy, but tread cautiously. Your old way of lifting/running/exercising might need to be adjusted to accommodate the increased hormones, change in your center of gravity (due to that growing belly) , fatigue levels, and changes in the cardiovascular system.

Depending on where you are in your pregnancy, treatment sessions may include internal exams to ensure you are able to contract and (more importantly) relax and stretch your pelvic floor muscles. A general hip, core, and lower extremity strength and mobility screen will also be conducted to determine if there are any areas that need more attention.. We will equip you with exercises and stretches to do that are pertinent to the number of weeks along you are and also advise on movements that you should try to avoid to lessen your likelihood of injury or pain arising.
